Within this structure, the Global Sustainability team leads the design and execution of Coloplast’s sustainability strategy, embedding climate and ESG priorities directly into business decision-making.
About the Role:
This is not a support role. This is ownership.
As Senior Climate Specialist, you will take full control of Coloplast’s carbon accounting framework and play a central role in executing its decarbonization roadmap. You are effectively the bridge between ambition and measurable action.
In this role, you will:
Own and manage the global carbon accounting framework, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
Maintain and evolve emissions methodologies, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and audit readiness.
Act as the central authority on emissions data governance across the organization.
Drive implementation of the company’s decarbonization roadmap.
Collaborate with Procurement, EHS, Finance, and Operations to embed climate considerations into business processes.
Support climate disclosures and reporting aligned with CSRD, CDP, and TCFD.
Partner with Procurement on supplier-related climate initiatives.
Contribute to continuous improvement of climate methodologies, systems, and internal capabilities.
Support pilot projects and initiatives that strengthen climate performance.
About You:
You are not just technical. You are influential.
You understand carbon accounting deeply, but more importantly, you can translate complexity into business action.
To succeed in this role, you:
Hold a Master’s degree in sustainability, environmental management, engineering, business, or a related field.
Have 5+ years of hands-on experience in carbon accounting, GHG inventory management, or decarbonization strategy.
Possess strong expertise in GHG Protocol, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 methodologies.
Have proven experience building and improving carbon accounting systems and data processes.
Understand key frameworks such as CDP, CSRD, SBTi, and TCFD.
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Can convert emissions data into actionable insights for decision-making.
Bring solid project management and execution capability.
Are skilled at cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence.
Are fluent in English with strong communication skills.
Experience with carbon accounting or sustainability data systems is an added advantage.
